Dr. Lusk is one of the foremost experts on nutrients and how they move through the
environment.  She has contributed as an author to more than 80 peer-reviewed
scientific publications on nutrient related topics ranging from septic system
environmental impacts to wastewater treatment and reclaimed water.
Dr. Lusk’s presentation will include discussion of recent findings from UF researchers
regarding rapid growth of red tide blooms when exposed to nutrients from reclaimed

available on both streets. To reach the Community Center from Placida Road (Hwy.
775), turn west onto Cape Haze Drive. At the traffic circle, take the first right (heading
