At the CHPOA Spring 2023 Member meeting, Bill Dahms, President of Friends of Cape Haze, made a presentation to update the membership on various legislative issues that currently impact our community. Of particular interest were two bills currently being considered in Tallahassee, SB540 & HB359. These bills would limit citizens rights to speak out against destructive development. Read more below. Bill encouraged membership to contact their representatives to voice opposition.
