Don Pedro Island Beach Property
The Cape Haze Property Owners Association (CHPOA)
owns a strip of beach property on Don Pedro Island immediately north
of the Don Pedro State Park. The property includes 400 yards
of beach frontage along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and a narrow
strip of land running east-west across the island to the shores of
the Intercoastal Waterway. Our beach property is completely
undeveloped and provides no facilities.
Don Pedro Island is accessible only by boat.
CHPOA owns and maintains a dock on the Intercoastal Waterway for the
exclusive use of CHPOA members. A 500-yard walk along a
primitive path will take visitors from the dock to the beach.
Water depths in the area of the dock are typically
rather shallow but it can generally be reached in boats with a draft
of 3 feet or less. The dock will accommodate several boats
simultaneously but boats longer than 30 feet should not attempt to
use it. Only current members of CHPOA are authorized to use
the dock.

the CHPOA dock and our recommended route for reaching it by clicking
