Community Bulletin Board

The layout for the bulletin board separates the front portion into two areas.  One half of the bulletin board is reserved for Community News with postings regarding upcoming meetings, social events, or any other information that CHPOA wishes to disseminate to the community at large.  The other half of the front is used for listing real estate for sale within Cape Haze by CHPOA members (or CAM members if vacant lots).

The rear of the board continues to display a plat map of Cape Haze along with additional real estate listings, if needed, and a section for CHPOA member personal postings of a classified nature such as other items for sale.

Rules and Procedures

  1. The size of all postings must not be larger than ˝ of a standard sheet of paper (8.5” wide by 5.5” high”).

  1. All real estate listings must be for Cape Haze properties owned by a CHPOA member (or CAM member if vacant lot).   Property information must be removed when the property sells or is withdrawn from the market.

  1. Realtors who wish to display listings of properties for sale by a CHPOA member (or CAM member if vacant lot) will be charged a $50 annual fee to help defray the cost of properly maintaining the board.

  1. Realtors must determine, by contacting the CHPOA Treasurer, whether the seller requesting advertising of their property is a bona fide member of CHPOA (or CAM member if vacant lot).

  1. It is the responsibility of the posting member (or realtor) to replace older, faded-out displays on a periodic basis and to remove postings which are  no longer valid.

  1. Only CHPOA and its committees are allowed to post information on the board in the Community News section.

  1. Only CHPOA members are allowed to post individual notices on the rear of board under the section “Member Postings”.

  1. No postings of a commercial nature (other than real estate for sale) are allowed.

  1. Inappropriate postings are not allowed and will be removed.

  1. All bulletin board postings must be coordinated through George Wolthoff at 697-2320.
