Community Center Usage

Cape Haze Community Center Usage Policy

  1. The Community Center (and related amenities), hereafter sometimes referred to as “the property”, is available only to full members of CHPOA, hereafter “the booking member”.
  2. Usage must be booked in advance with designated individual in charge of the Community Center schedule.
  3. An “Application/Agreement for use of the Cape Haze Community Center” form must be completed and submitted for formal approval with each request for booking.  Click here to download a copy of the application/agreement.

A damage deposit of a check for $100.00 will be left with the individual in charge of the Community Center schedule when the booking member reserves the Community Center.

CHPOA sponsored groups, e.g., CHPOA meetings or The Women’s Club meetings and events, will be exempt from the damage deposit.

Following a scheduled event, assuming the Community Center is returned to the same condition as it was prior to the event, the deposit check may be picked up by the booking member.

Groups using the Community Center on a recurring basis, will maintain a $100.00 damage deposit on file.  Therefore, if any repair and/or clean-up is necessary following any one of the Group’s meetings, cost of these repairs and/or clean up will be deducted from the current $100.00 deposit.  An additional dollar amount will be expected to maintain the damage deposit on file at $100.00.  The Group or booking member will also be expected to reimburse CHPOA for costs incurred beyond $100.00.  Please see the following insurance mandated rules:
